Zill mufflers: Keep your zills covered and practice without your neighbors calling the cops or waking your kids.
Saroyan zills: Harry Saroyan's are the best zills. I have the bronze Ghawazees and the little brass Nefertitis. Both are lovely, and the Nefertitis have held up perfectly over the past 10 years since I bought them. I also recommend the Arabesque I and II and Afghanis. You can also buy lightweight costume coins and scimitars from Saroyan.

Costume Construction
Fringe: CrazyCrow (14" and 18" chainette, lots of colors) or Theater House (many sizes and colors, great price)
Fabric: I like Joann and Hancock, both are fabric chain stores.
Bra bases: Sugar Petals, I also buy regular bras with the stiffest cup I can find and adjust the cup angle and do some other chopping and alteration, then cover and decorate them.
